Andersen Replacement Windows | Awning Windows
Awning windows are great for a variety of purposes, but are definitely perfect for use in combination with picture windows and as higher windows in more mid-century modern homes. They are also commonly seen above sinks in the kitchen.
These windows are hinged at the top and open outward from the bottom. They’re basically a casement window that is turned 90 degrees. These are often placed high on walls in places such as bathrooms. They allow ventilation but offer protection from rain.
Virtually maintenance free
Perma-Shield, Fibrex, or metal clad exteriors will not corrode, peel, or fade.
Extruded frame provides superior strength that will not dent or splinter.
